We all know how important it is for young people to learn about the career options open to them. Be it staying on at sixth form, starting an apprenticeship, going to college or university or getting a job. Liverpool Compact EBP can help YOU keep YOUR students informed by helping you organise a Careers event.

How do they work?

A Careers event is of most benefit to Years 10-13.

We invite employers, universities, colleges and training providers to attend your school on an agreed date. The exhibitors will display materials and literature and have key staff on hand to offer advice and guidance to your students about career and training opportunities.

There are usually around 25 exhibitors at an event. The school provides the venue, equipment and refreshments.

Benefits to young people

  • Informs students about the wide variety of career options open to them
  • Motivates and excites
  • Helps students make their career choices

Why employers support Careers Events

"Careers events organised by Liverpool Compact EBP provide us with a positive forum to meet with prospective students and provide advice about Higher Education. They play a major part in our calendar of events."
