Why not let the local business community see what your school
has to offer them……..

Liverpool Compact EBP can organise an Education/Business Seminar for your school.

It's an ideal way for local business leaders to gain an insight into Education and see how YOUR students - their potential employees, are being prepared for the future.

How do they work?

We will invite local business leaders into school for a Breakfast Meeting, a ‘Lunch & Learn’ session or an After Hours Business Buffet.

Normally the Head Teacher will make a short presentation about their school; what it has to offer the business community (in terms of community facilities or assistance for business projects) and how your school is preparing and equipping your students with skills for the workplace.

A senior business leader or representative from Liverpool Compact EBP will then explain the business benefits of becoming involved in Work Related Learning and Enterprise activities with schools.

Benefits to your school

  • Brings the business community directly into your school
  • Informs them of the advanced concepts in learning
  • Raises your school's profile with the local business community

"I thought the Business seminar arranged by Liverpool Compact EBP was superb. The response (from employers) was far beyond that which I expected. The event was a great success."

Dewi Phillips, Head Teacher, Childwall Comprehensive School

Why employers support Education/Business Seminars

"I was amazed to see how schools had changed. It really did give me an insight into the advantages of education business links and how we as a company can have input into the school curriculum."

Colin Baker, Bramall Construction
