Bringing Enterprise into the classroom
How do they work?
We know that employers require a workforce that is enterprising,
innovative and skilful in order to stay ahead of the competition.
To equip YOUR students with these skills we have developed a series
of workshops which are delivered during the course of an Enterprise
Day.
This provides a fun and interactive way for students to experience
a range of business and enterprise activities…….. in
school.
With Liverpool Compact EBP's help, a group of employers run Business/
Enterprise workshops, simulations or problem solving exercises
for small groups of students in school. This gives the students
an understanding
of how different areas of business work and generates enthusiasm
for enterprise, encouraging new entrepreneurs!
Workshops normally last up to an hour and a half.
Students may be asked to market a new product, build a Lego tower
or build a survival shelter out of newspaper. Whatever the
task it will link the school curriculum to the workplace.
The activities test a student’s ability to present, problem-solve,
think creatively, plan financially and work in a team, to deadlines.
Benefits to young people

“Enterprise Days are a great way of
