Give young people an insight into your world!
A visit to industry is a top priority for all schools and forms
part of Applied GCSE courses.
Not only will a visit to your company fascinate and inform school
pupils, but help you build links with your future employees and
customers!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We will plan the visit with you, taking note of the number of students
you can accommodate and health and safety requirements. A teacher
always accompanies students.
The structure of the visit will be shaped by the students’ learning
objectives. For example, if you’re in the Manufacturing business,
students may find it useful to see an assembly line, learn about
product development and quality control, or talk to the Production & Marketing
Department staff. A service environment could provide students with
an insight into Finance, dealing with customers or the use of I.C.T.
By talking to key personnel and observing a day in the life
of your company, students acquire an understanding of how
your industry
or
business operates.
